Members of the House Finance Committee visited Mahi Pono and several other organizations on Maui to discuss community needs, review ongoing initiatives, and identify key priorities for the upcoming legislative session.  During the visit, members learned about Mahi Pono's efforts to increase local food production, create sustainable jobs, and strengthen Maui's economy.

Mahi Pono's Maui-grown mandarins made their debut in Hawai'i public schools in February through a partnership with the Hawai'i State Department of Education ("DOE").  This initiative highlights the shared commitment of Mahi Pono and the DOE to provide keiki statewide with fresh, locally grown produce while supporting and strengthening the local agricultural economy.
