Financial Analyst
Mahi Pono is seeking a Financial Analyst. The Financial Analyst is responsible to prepare annual operating & capital budget and keep budget, cash flows & business plan updated. Assist in preparation of regular and periodic investor presentations and reporting. Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed to support decision-making. Analyze the trends of key performance indicators (KPI) from citrus packhouse, especially relating to financial metrics such as processing, grading, sales, and profit margin. Work closely with department directors review monthly financial statements. Lead and successfully implemented softwares: Heavy Connect - labor, Procurify - requisition and spend management. Requires a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, or closely related field, plus 3 years of work experience in the job offered or closely related occupation. Other requirements include familiarity with vertically integrated operations. Proven ability to build, maintain, and update driver-based financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning. Expertise in variance analysis (actual v.s. budget/forecast), including production yield, labor cost, packout, and market pricing variances. Ability to perform multi-year financial modeling incorporating accounting cycles, capital investments, and production lead times. Advanced Excel modeling skills, including nested functions, data tables, dynamic charts, pivot tables, and macros. Proficiency with enterprise financial systems such as NetSuite (must be able to extract, interpret, and manipulate ERP data). Experience with FP&A reporting and BI tools such as Quickbase and Microsoft Power BI. Strong command of data visualization and reporting tools to create dashboards and track financial KPIs. Experience with implementing, configuring & deploying financial software systems. Must possess expertise/knowledge sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered. Senior Crop Accountant
Mahi Pono is seeking a Senior Crop Accountant. The Senior Crop Accountant will be responsible for department/locations allocations for all critical expenditures. These processes include ensuring costs and expenditures are properly allocated and captured in financial statements. This position will partner with our farming team to ensure proper financial statement presentation of all crops. Prior 4-8 years of accounting experience, to include 2-3 years of major agriculture company experience, distribution, or manufacturing operations preferred. Must possess strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities with experience managing and leading complex issues requiring both interpretation and judgment. Must have a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, and an extensive experience in general ledger accounting. A 4-year degree in accounting is preferred, or other related degree in finance or business administration with combined work experience in accounting. Advanced Excel skills (working with large amounts of data), and experience with NetSuite ERP a plus. Ranch Administrative Assistant
Mahi Pono is seeking a Ranch Administrative Assistant. The Ranch Administrative Assistant position will facilitate the efficient operation of the Kulolio Ranch department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative duties. This position will be responsible for maintaining documentation of movements in cattle herd inventory, track & record cattle feed inventory and consumption, and handles cattle EID scanning and vaccine administration. In addition, this role will prepare purchase orders, and coordinate billing with accounting to ensure timely sourcing of purchases and receipt of materials and supplies. Prior 1-3 years of experience in an administrative role, including strong problem-solving skills. High school diploma and valid driver’s license required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs, to include Excel. Previous experience working with livestock a plus. Journeyman/Industrial Mechanic
Mahi Pono is seeking an Industrial Mechanic. One-year minimum journeyman mechanic experience preferred. Industrial Mechanic must be able to work on new installations, to include preventative maintenance, repairs, inspection, testing, and adjustments on equipment to existing equipment and facilities.
