Food Safety & Quality Specialist
Mahi Pono is seeking a Food Safety & Quality Specialist. The Food Safety & Quality Specialist position will be responsible for implementing and monitoring food safety and quality programs across farm, harvest, and packing shed operations. This role ensures compliance with Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), quality and customer service requirements. The specialist plays a key role in protecting product integrity, supporting audit readiness, and driving continuous improvement in food safety and quality. Must possess experience in lab, food safety and quality control within agricultural, produce, or packing shed operations. In addition, must have effective written and verbal communication skills, with prior experience conducting inspections and documentation reviews. Director of Accounting
Mahi Pono is seeking a Director of Accounting. The Director of Accounting will oversee general accounting operations for one or more subsidiaries of Mahi Pono LLC, by reviewing, recording, and reporting on our financial transactions. This role will lead an accounting team and own the monthly financial close process end-to-end. In addition, the Director of Accounting must deliver executive-level financial reporting, including Balance Sheet, Income Statements and Statement of Cash Flows, support Risk Management and Treasury for cash management, liquidity, and compliance initiatives, and prepare and present financial analysis and reports to senior management identifying trends and risks. Must possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA strongly preferred. Must have 10-15 years of progressive accounting experience with deep knowledge of US GAAP and proven technical expertise. Experience in agriculture, distribution, or manufacturing industries is strongly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required, experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems is a plus. Junior Financial Analyst
Mahi Pono is seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to support the Finance team with financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and operational analysis. This role will assist in data analysis, reporting, and decision-making to ensure financial alignment across the company. Must have strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling, data visualization), experience with or ability to quickly learn financial planning and ERP systems, and the understanding of financial statements and key financial metrics. Must have a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or FP&A, along with experience in agribusiness, manufacturing or CPG is a plus but not required. Journeyman/Industrial Mechanic
Mahi Pono is seeking an Industrial Mechanic. One-year minimum journeyman mechanic experience preferred. Industrial Mechanic must be able to work on new installations, to include preventative maintenance, repairs, inspection, testing, and adjustments on equipment to existing equipment and facilities.
